Hosted by Swinburne University of Technology, The University of Newcastle and RMIT University, The ’Design, what is it good for?’ brief invites submissions from students enrolled in tertiary and secondary design courses and units to participate. It stimulates debate by exploring issues of social responsibility and personal accountability in the field of visual communication. The competition, exhibition and online forum provides students an opportunity to collaborate globally, on an international stage and serves as a conduit between industry, education and the general public to nurture and sustain future communities of design practice.
